Matthew is a gifted pianist who began his classical training at the age of 7 years old. He has been performing in fine restaurants and hotels since age 11. He has since branched off into several other genres including jazz, new age contemporary, and worship music. Matt began teaching students a few years ago when he was approached to teach his mother's more advanced students. Since then he has picked up several more students and is primarily focusing on teaching them how to read "chord sheets", the primary music notation for worship music.

 

His favorite influences include Chick Corea, George Winston, Yanni, Sovereign Grace Music, and Bill Evans.
